We're a brand new brass band, started in March 2013, looking for a few more players. Rehearsals are Friday evenings 7:30 pm to 9.30 pm at Fortismere Music Centre in Muswell Hill. Enthusiastic learners, lapsed players and more experienced brass and percussion players are all welcome. Instruments wanted: Cornet, (Trumpet), Tenor Horn, Baritone Horn, Euphonium, Trombone, Eb and Bb Bass (Tuba), Kit percussion, tuned percussion, timpani. The band is conducted by Paul Hooper a teacher and professional musician of fifteen years and currently principal Trombone of the Irish Guards band. We have lots of concerts lined up and a vibrant social scene.

Hatherleigh Silver Band - West of England 3rd Sec. Our long established, friendly band is looking to appoint a new enthusiastic and committed Musical Director to further develop and take our band forward. The successful candidate will have high standards, previous experience within Brass Bands and be able to work with the wide range of abilities and ages of players we have within the band.
We are a 3rd Section Band that has previously qualified for the 4th Section National Finals of GB in 1993, 2010 and 2011 (2011 as West of England Champions). Bugle Silver Band, based in the village of Bugle (between St. Austell and Bodmin) in mid-Cornwall, require a first-class tutti cornet and a flugel player to join our friendly, rapidly progressing band. The band compete in the Second Section nationally (West of England area), taking part in three/four contests each year. We also have a busy Summer engagement schedule and pride ourselves on being a fantastic entertainment and marching band. We are a very friendly bunch and have an excellent, enthusiastic MD, Jeremy Willcock. Rehearsals are held at our bandroom on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 7:30-9:30pm.
