Boxted Methodist Silver Band

Boxted Methodist Silver Band can trace its roots back to a wind band formed c.1860 by members of Boxted Methodist Church. By 1898 this had become a brass band, whose membership card stated that the band played to "The Honour and Glory of God". The band's present day name dates from the late 1930's.
